Is it easy to clean the Gratnells storage units, trolleys and trays?
Yes. All of our frames and trolleys are easy to wipe down clean. Frames and trays with antimicrobial protection will also help with infection control by providing a surface where germs cannot survive.
Do your storage frames and shelving systems integrate with your trolleys, trays and baskets?
Yes. Both the Compact and Classic ranges are designed as integrated storage systems, so everything fits everything else within the range. That means, for example, that an individual patient’s surgical kit can be pre-prepared on a tray the night before, left on a storage rack until it’s time for the operation, then slotted straight into one of our trolleys to be wheeled into theatre.
Do you have a system that fits into a very small space?
Yes. There’s a Gratnells solution to suit every storage requirement. We have a space-saving ‘compact’ range which is perfect for tighter spaces or awkwardly shaped rooms.
Can I attach an oxygen bottle to any trolley?
If you need an oxygen bottle you will need to make sure that you are purchasing a trolley that can support the right size of oxygen bottle. Please read the following information carefully to make sure you have the right holder for your needs. You will need to contact us to order an Oxygen Cylinder
– Our smaller D Oxygen Cylinder holders can hold oxygen cylinders with a maximum diameter of 102mm and a maximim height of 600mm. These need to be factory fitted with your order.
– Our larger E Oxygen Cylinder holders can hold oxygen cylinders with a maximum diameter of 102mm and a maximum height of 865mm. These do not need to be factory fitted.
These are the trolleys that can hold an oxygen bottle:
– Double and treble width Compact trolleys that are 850mm high can support our D and E size holders.
– Double and treble width Compact trolleys that are 725mm high can support D holder only which must be factory fitted.
– Single Classic trolleys that are 890mm high can support both D and E holders.
– Single Classic trolleys that are 790mm high can support our D holder only, which must be factory fitted.
(Single width Compact trolleys and double width Classic trolleys are not suitable for holding Oxygen Cylinders).

Do the trolleys have antibacterial properties?
All Gratnells Frames and Trolleys are treated with BioCote® Antimicrobial protection. Using the natural sterilising properties of silver, BioCote® reduces growth of harmful bacteria, viruses and mould.
Can the trays and baskets be swapped between trolleys?
Trays and baskets can be swapped between different trolleys as long as they are from the same range (Classic range or Compact range)
What are your delivery charges?
Delivery is FREE to the UK mainland and Isle of Wight for any orders over £30. This excludes the Scottish Highlands & Isles and Isle of Man. All orders under £30 are charged at £8 plus VAT for delivery to UK mainland and Isle of Wight. Unfortunately we are not able to deliver outside the UK on this website, but please do contact us on [email protected] for a separate quote.
Is VAT included in your listed prices?
All prices on this site do not include VAT. VAT is added at the checkout.
Are your products guaranteed?
Yes. You can buy any Gratnells product safe in the knowledge there is a five year guarantee covering any defects in materials or workmanship.
I don't want to pay by PayPal, can I pay by credit card?
Yes. We accept payments either by PayPal or by credit card. We use the PayPal site to process the payments but you can make a straightforward credit card payment this way without signing up for a PayPal account.
